Singapore Neighbours Oriental Pied Hornbill Framed Art Print
A painting of the Oriental Pied Hornbill that would come to visit me in the tree next to my art studio in Singapore. He loved to be nestled in between all of the foliage and the bird's-nest ferns. The hornbills in Singapore have played an important part of my journey here. I had a very hard time mentally my first year in Singapore and I felt like things weren't lining up the way we had planned. On one particularly hard day I was sitting outside on our balcony listening to the rain and drinking coffee. All of a sudden a massive hornbill flew onto our balcony to take cover from the rain, this was the first time I had ever seen this majestic bird! There was also a rainbow directly behind him and in that moment I thought, "Okay, this is where I am meant to be". Now every time I see a hornbill I remember that day and think of how far I've come since then!
This Singapore inspired art print is made for both bird and botanical lovers and would make a great addition to your wall decor. This art print is created from an original gouache Em+Co painting.
