Oia Sunset Santorini Greece Original Gouache Painting

This painting was inspired by our recent trip to Santorini Greece. I was amazed with how picture perfect Oia actually was. It was definitely a place that lived up to our expectations. I especially loved how all of the white cave houses contrasted against the blue of the sky, breathtaking! Though I loved the blue skies, I wanted to paint the scene in the evening to add some warmth and because Santorini is so famous for their sunsets!
